Our client in the Vanderbijlpark area seeks the services of a highly experienced and qualified Production Manager with FMCG Canning experience.

The candidate will:

Manage production department, business and customer orders.

Manage shifts, Planning and co-ordination

Ensure deliverables are met

Budget and cost control

Quality Control

Ensure Health and safety req are adhered to- Compliance.

Recruitment Performance Management- Training -“select training issues”

Experience in Production line, Production management in Manufacturing industry


Whilst experience is more important than qualifications the successful candidate is most likely to have a tertiary education experience


At least 5 yrs Canning /FMCG)

Key knowledge of the logistics market and have the ability to form a streamlined, efficient and cost effective supply chain with a preferred group of providers and further develop relationships to support continued expansion


•Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
•Must be computer literate
•At the minimum a Production Management Certificate
Minimum of 3 to 5 years Production Exposure experience in the FMCG CANNING  industry
•Exposure to HCCP and ISO
•Experience in the manufacturing environment
•Ensuring that production runs smoothly and continuously
•Being able to plan, co - ordinate and solve problems on the production floor
•Will be responsible for service levels to customers
•Ensure that production deadlines are met
•Maintain quality, hygiene and disciplines in the factory area
•Maintain customer satisfaction
•Strong leadership skills
•Supervising and motivating a team of workers
