Responsible for all manufacture on the Durban site in accordance with National requirements and safety levels ; Responsible for Health and Safety on site; Responsible for good housekeeping on site; Control stocks, both raw material requisitioned and finished products; Manage performance and discipline of staff; Assist with Quality Assurance and ISO9002 compliance; Provide production/manufacturing service on an adhoc basis to customers; Knowledge of ERP systems Numerate and logical Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in production in a unionized environment ; Good written and verbal communication skills; Good people skills and the ability to manage a diverse work force; Methodical, Innovative and creative; Results driven Good conceptual abilities; Good practical hands on ability; Practical knowledge of SAP ; Experience with Microsoft computer application software.
