Capable of organizing and managing priorities, business equipment and problem-solving techniques. Leadership/management experience. Familiarity with a MRP system in an automotive manufacturing environment. Minimum of four (4) years of management experience required
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Define, staff, and develop the Plant Quality organization. Ensure all production staff and operators perform work requirements in a safe manner and take steps to ensure improvements to behaviours and hazard elimination take effect. Evaluates production capabilities and takes steps to ensure plant operations team executes scheduled plan provided by the Materials Department. Adhere to quality plan and policies across the plant ensuring that customer quality concerns are appropriately resolved to prevent failed containment situations, corrective actions of identified defects are followed, and compliance is achieved according to IATF standards. Work in compliance with ISO 14001 / TS16949 standards. Review manpower requirements and appropriately staff plant operations with qualified operators. Production scheduling Using key performance indicators, initiate corrective planning proactive to customer complaints for continuous improvement. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable law.
