A leading leather manufacturing plant in Atlantis on the West Coast is looking to appoint an experience Production Manager who will not only oversee manufacturing, but also technical issues and the overall maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate should have at least five years experience in production management with the ability to not only successfully plan the company's production activities, but also be able to manage the workforce and staff who will report to him. Knowledge of quality systems and the implementation thereof will be required. A tertiary qualification in production management and or industrial engineering will be required. Previous experience in a leather or textile manufacturing environment will be beneficial.
