PRODUCTION MANAGER x 2 2 – 3 Month Contract R Neg.

A Production/Operations or Industrial Engineering qualification is essential plus a minimum of 5 years at a senior supervisory level from the automotive industry only. We need an assertive leader who is prepared to work shifts and overtime when required. You must be able to lead effectively in a high pressure environment. You are a level up from the Production Supervisors that you will manage in the production areas. You will assist the Business Unit Managers in planning, organising and the supervision and control of production and manpower in the Assembly area (therefore we want a candidate from Assembly area production). Your position requires much interface with production employees and managing (absenteeism and daily workload, organising operators, dealing with labour brokers, scheduling their daily tasks, health and safety. You will ensure lines are supplied with material (liaison with warehouse), monitor scrap etc.
