PRODUCTION MANAGERS X 2: PACKING & PROCESSING OF FRUIT
WESTERN CAPE

Requirements:
- Dynamic individual with attention to detail and good people and management skills to drive production targets in packhouses with a focus on quality
- Degree in Agriculture and 5 years experience in managing larger units of packing or processing of fruit
- If individual is driven future packhouse management position would be possible
- Above average management skills
- Above average people-, communication skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Valid drivers license

Resposibilities will include:
- Lead a team of supervisors and employees to pack and process fruit with high efficiency and according to quality specifications.
- Manage all disciplinary and motivating models for staff reporting to the position
- Recruit and appoint necessary staff.
- Statutory requirements and labour laws
- Scheduling of pack runs.
- Organizing to maximize efficiency.
- Stock rotation management.
- Maintenance management.
- Manage logistics w.r.t production in Packing and processing facilities.
