Key requirements:

B.Pharm Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy plus registration with the SA Pharmacy Council. Computer literacy essential with knowledge of QA processes and principles essential (GMP).

Key responsibilities:

Ensure key production performance is achieved in line with set targets. Update SOP’s and work instructions on a continuous basis and ensure that manufacturing and production activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Ensure a reduction of yield losses, material usage variance through structured problem solving. Review of batch manufacturing and packing documents and initiation of changes when appropriate. Ensure good internal and external customer relationships, upstream and downstream. Leading and managing staff, promoting good interpersonal relations in a diverse cultural setting through a team based approach. Implementing of best practices, designed to develop and improve manufacturing efficiency in value streams. Strong quality emphasis, focusing on the elimination of waste.
