We are looking for a high potential Production planner, who would like to learn and grow quickly.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop Factory production plan that fits in with key policies and sales forecasts
• Schedule the production process and production departments by material, employee and equipment availability.
• Create and maintain production schedules and provide the required feedback
• Use workers and resources in the most effective manner
• Provide quick responses to production issues
• Identify problems and help improve processes to ensure that deadlines are met
• Use software to generate reports and schedules.
• Manage stock covers within giving parameters
• Maintain master data and MRP systems
• Manage production of International orders
• Report through the Supply Chain manager

Requirements

• Matric essential
• Higher Grade Mathematics
• Tertiary Education or diploma advantageous
• Previous production planning experience preferable
• Strong MS excel skills required
• Syspro experience would be advantageous
• Position will be based in Amanzimtoti, so own transport would be essential.
