Production Planner
Key performance areas:
? Liaise with production and warehouse on production plan and schedule
? Integrate the production plan with stock, machine and warehousing availability to ensure that production plan is executed as planned
? Building a database with relevant information on each production
? Maintain the MRP/ MPS to ensure accurate data for production planning
? Plan production taking cognisance of annual plan, new line introductions and production phase outs
? Ensure all production plans are captured into materials requirement files.
? Capturing / planning on BPCS System.
The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a relevant qualification
? Minimum 2 years experience in a production environment in the FMCG industry
? Knowledge of MPR and BPCS systems would be an advantage
? Excellent computer literacy with a working knowledge of integrated business management systems for material resources planning
? Monthly budget planning and labour cost experience would be advantageous
? Excellent written & verbal communication skills
? Must be able to gather information and forecast, machine efficiency and planning of maintenance
? General understanding of a UHT plant, different lines and trials completed
? Must be willing to work over time
