PRODUCTION SHIT LEADER – EQUITY
Minimum requirements:
• NQF 5 qualification in Production Management / Operations Management and or Engineering qualification
• 5 Years’ production management experience in relevant field
• Harness manufacturing experience will be beneficial
• Cutting/prep experience advantageous
• Proven track record in effective people management
• Knowledge and experience in industrial relations
• Drivers licence essential

Duties:
• To plan, organize and control production for the shift and to ensure that the product is produced efficiently, on time, within budged and to standard
• Management of production shift as well as cutting/prep departments
• Ensure compliance with group quality standards
• Produce harnesses according to specifications using series or sample processes as required
• Ensure achievement of production targets as specified by production planning
• Initiate corrective actions on plan deviations based on daily analyses
• Initiate corrective actions on quality problems based on discussion with support department
• Ensure legal compliance in regards to health and safety for applicable shift
• Monitor and review the performance of staff within shift and organize necessary interventions for improvement
• Determine and implement continuous improvements to production process
