Candidates intending to apply for this position must possess the following minimum requirements:
-A national diploma in Operations management or a related practical qualification at NQF level 5
-5 years manufacturing experience with at least 2 of these at first line management level
-A strong track record in the application of lean principles & tools
-Excellent general manufacturing skills
-Production Management system knowledge
-The ability to independently drive change and improvement in a shifts performance
-A rich knowledge of, & experience in, problem solving techniques in a team based environment
-Confidence in the theory and practice of Industrial relations
-Computer skills (MS office, Outlook)
-The ability to lead a large team in shift activities to ensure manufacturing key performance indicators are met
