One of our global leading infrastructural design companies that have been successfully operating for over 45 years and specialise in power, water, structures and roads are looking to employ a Professional Civil Engineer (Municipal Services) that is professionally registered and has extensive experience in the implementation and design of municipal services. The successful candidate will be based in Windhoek on a Permanent basis.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be a holder of a BSc. Civil Engineering or alternatively a BEng. Civil Engineering degree
Must be professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.)
Must have 10 – 12 years post qualification as well as post registration experience in the implementation and design of municipal services.
Must have extensive experience working with AutoCAD, WaterMate, Civil 3D or alternatively PipeMate software packages
Must have extensive knowledge of the procurement process as well as construction contract documentation such as FIDIC, NEC and GCC
Must be able to provide and review technical guidance and assistance to the design team.
Must be able to accurately produce project schedules, valuations as well as quantities at any stage of the project
Must be have own vehicle and willing to travel to sites
