Professional Nurse

A progressive Healthcare Company who is passionate about providing Clinical Care to HIV positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for Professional Nurse to provide medical male circumcision services, HIV testing, quality assurance, patient follow up and counselling at Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) clinics and outreach sites

Key performance areas
• Working with a team of providers to ensure the highest quality of service
• Provision of VMMC services in line with national and international best practice
• Pre and post-operative services and reviews
• Record keeping, management of stock and equipment
• On-going supervision of MMC Enrolled Nurses
• Implement quality assurance and improvement activities

Education, Training and Experience
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing Science
• SANC Registration (South African Nursing Council)
• Experience in a surgical and/or clinical setting
• Good knowledge of HIV
• Driver’s licence & willing to travel
• 2 years’ experience in a public health setting
• Nursing insurance desirable
