Professional Technologist (Transportation)

A highly motivated, dynamic and innovative Engineering firm with over 46 years’ experience in the Engineering Industry is seeking to permanently employ an experienced Professional Technologist within Transportation Division to join the team in Kwazulu-Natal. The preferred candidate should be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must have a B. Tech Degree in Civil Engineering
Must be a registered with the Engineering Counsel of South Africa (ECSA) as a Proefssional
Must have 10 – 12 years’ experience in the field of Transportation with emphasis on road geometric design
Must have at least 10 years’ post qualification experience, preferably at senior level in the consulting engineering industry specifically involved in geometric design of roads (national roads)
Must have relevant design software experience e.g. one or more of road geometrics; water and sewer reticulation as well as some structural design capability.
Must be able to manage small teams, business development and preparation of project proposals in a transportation division / business unit.
