Program Manager - Pretoria
Reporting to the Programme Director you will need a B Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business, an MBA an advantage and a PMP certification or equivalent. We need a candidate with 5 years’ experience in manufacturing ( with at least 2 in automotive preferably in component/JIT or an automotive Tier 1 supplier). You must be able to prove that you have managed at least one Product Development Program through to Launch including budget ownership responsibility, proven customer and supplier relationship management and a working knowledge of costing/quoting process. A solid business, commercial and financial understanding is essential as is MS projects and MS office and knowledge of the design and development process and manufacturing processes. The main purpose of this position is to define and implement program plans, budgets and schedules ensuring coordinated planning and realization of BU product development, tooling and start up programs. Will work closely with Supplier Advanced Quality Planning and the Advanced Quality Engineer , take full responsibility for finance and launch execution and conduct program reviews, report on status of program etc.
