Programme Manager with responsibilities across the whole of Ascendis Health Group, including: supporting the development and implementation of the Group Strategy; providing updates for ExCom, Board and external stakeholders on progress on the Strategy; facilitating the annual Business Planning Cycle across SA; executing a number of business critical / priority projects throughout the year.

Develop and facilitate the implementation of the annual Business Planning Process for all BUs, to deliver against Group Strategy:
o Work with ExCom to build and launch approach each year
o Manage progress against timelines
o Work with MDs / FDs / Programme Managers and teams to build their plans
o Work across the BUs to spot joint opportunities, clashes and learning
o Support tracking and reporting on progress, across all SA BUs
o Prepare consolidated views, for presentation to key stakeholders, demonstrating progress against our Group Strategy, including: Board updates, Investor and market updates, Staff Roadshows etc

Deliver strategic project implementation:
o Establish and manage governance
o Develop project implementation plans
o Drive progress and ensure milestones are met
o Identify and mitigate delivery risks
o Drive stakeholder engagement / business buy-in
o Report on progress / update executive committee

Support and work on, scoping and diagnosis of group wide strategic projects, which include:
o Value creation plan development and implementation
o Revenue and cost synergy extraction
o Post-acquisition business integration
o Operational improvement (e.g., sales force effectiveness, process redesign, SKU rationalisation)

Selectively support commercial due diligence during M&A activities

Assist the executive committee and shareholders with any ad-hoc requests

Day To Day Deliverables:
Facilitating the Business Planning Cycle; Running Projects; Supporting ExCom members on high priorities.

Supervision Received:
Reports direct to member of Group ExCom. Will have to operate independently, working across senior stakeholders, to drive implementation / progress / improvements. Will need to operate at pace, across different organisations / BUs and teams, addressing multiple priorities.

Supervision Exercised:
No direct supervision, but will be responsible for coaching across the business on development and implementation of BU Business Plans, working intensely with MDs / FDs and other senior stakeholders. Need senior experience / SME to be able to coach across senior stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Highly proficient in developing Strategies / Change Programmes
• Highly proficient in developing project plans
• Proven ability to manage project execution to deadlines (i.e., monitor timelines, milestones)
• Highly organised and diligent
• Experience working with multiple senior stakeholders (i.e., C-level), able to challenge and coach MD level stakeholders in specialist field
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Natural problem solver and structured thinker
• Developing business acumen and understanding of commercial value drivers
• Analytically strong (e.g., can perform financial and business modelling)
• Team player
• Good EQ and self-awareness
• Degree level qualification
• 6 years’ experience, at least 2 years in Consultancy: Strategy / transformation / Change Programme focus
• Some travel required
• Will need to flex hours to work to very tight deadlines and business critical milestones.
• Deals with highly confidential information (the most sensitive information in the company) and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
• Expert level PowerPoint and Excel skills
