Salary: R40 – R50 000 p/m

A Healthcare Company who is passionate about providing Clinical Care to HIV positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Programme Manager based in uMkhanyakude.

Key performance areas

• Responsible for building and strengthening capacity of district, sub-district and PHC facility teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HIV & related services
• Build capacity of District Health Management team
• Co-ordinate programme activities and oversee programme implementation within the district
• Support the district with the development of best practices and enhancement of HS (PHC) program activities, operational solution, systems design and site specific training.
• Co-ordinate and implement programme monitoring, evaluation and reporting within the district
• Assist the district in preparing for provincial audits and other quality improvement activities.
• Liaise with Provincial and local health authorities
• Supervise, support and mentor project management staff to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of sound labour relations

Education, Training and Experience
• Post graduate degree / diploma in HIV Management or other specialist qualification in HIV-related health services
• Experience in working and dealing with Provincial and District health authorities
• Demonstrated training skills
• Data Management experience
• Good problem solving ability
• Ability to handle a varied, busy and pressurized work load with competing demands on time
• Ability to work in a multi- disciplinary team with diverse backgrounds
• Innovative and show initiative
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels
• Computer skills (MS Office package)
• Drivers licence and own transport; willingness to undertake regular overnight travel.
