Positionexists at a Private Education Provider which provides distance education in business related sciences.
KPA's
1.Academic Management and Leadership: 
Programme Management which includes programme / course co-ordination, general course administration / module evaluations.
Curriculum design, development and review.
Continuously evaluate teaching and assessment practices against institutional policies and contribute to policy review.
2. Teaching and Learning:
Oversee of teaching and learning initiatives and academic campaigns
Use innovative techniques and educational technology to teach students 
Provide academic support to students.
Design assessments and assess learner performance
Constructive feedback to students about progress.
Design, develop and distribute core and supplementary learning materials.
3.Enhance Student Experience:
Resolve student enquiries efficiently and effectively.
Optimise use of educational technologies as well as social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc to facilitate teaching and learning.
Actively participate in departmental research initiatives.? 
Essential Experience:?
Minimum three years teaching/lecturing at a recognised tertiary institution in the discipline of Business Management.
Familiarity with the academic discourse within the Management discipline.
Academic guidance and support of student learning.
Exposure to Internet-based education technologies e.g. Moodle, Blackboard, Sakai, etc and other social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Working knowledge of the education landscape
Working knowledge of distance learning
Curriculum design and development. Academic material development. Instructional design
Technical Knowledge:
Intimate knowledge of at least three of the main Management clusters, namely: Business Management, Leadership, Production and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Management, Management by Projects, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Business Ethics, Innovation and Creativity, Commercial Law, People Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Information Systems, Business Continuity, etc.
Ability to facilitate teaching and learning at NQF levels 5 to 7 in any three of the sub-disciplines listed above.
Education and Qualifications:
 A postgraduate qualification in the Management or Business Management discipline or a cognate field. (preferably at Masters or Honours level). An additional post graduate qualification(s) in teaching and/or assessment practices will be an advantage.
