Job Description:

Ensure adherence to project finance processes and procedures.

Effective communicate to the project teams and the business.

Advise Project Planners and Managers to ensure effective business outcomes.

Asset accounting of project assets.

Perform monthly journals, allocations and accruals per project.

Ensuring alignment between cost management system and SAP.

Identify and implement best practice relating to project accounting and financial control.

Preparation of monthly management cost reports.

Tracking and reporting on cash flow matters.

Project Evaluation and Business Planning.

Building effective teams throughout the organisation.

Provide Management with financial information to assist in decision making by identifying, investigating and forecasting variance trends, and if required, developing corrective action plans in conjunction with Management.

Providing mentorship to team members.

Providing input, reviewing and co-ordinating the annual budget for Projects.

Provide input and review to variances between current forecast, budget, and makes recommendations to Management where necessary.

Implement new knowledge / information by keeping abreast of latest project concepts.

Uses expertise to introduce systems, which enhance the effectiveness of the position / team / project.
