PROJECT ACCOUNTING MANAGER: Hospitality – Franschhoek

Unique opportunity exists in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley in the hospitality industry. As Project Accountant ensure the following:
• Address all projects assigned from inception to conclusion and to ensure that the results of investigations enable management to make sound and informed business decisions. Develop an understanding of the project Ensure that the Finance Director is kept up to date at the progress of the project by providing regular feedback
• Keep other involved personnel informed of progress. Recommend improvements to internal controls where necessary
• Ensure that detailed records are kept of the work performed
• Report the result of the work performed to the FD
• Follow up on or set up of the implementation process
• Ensure and implement a critical path for the implementation
• Assist operations to ensure a smooth take on of the project result
• evaluate the progress of the project and determine whether further action is required
• Identify project opportunities that come to light during day to day operations to reduce costs and increase revenues
Essential:
B Comm SAICA, Articles with a recognized firm of Chartered Accountants
2 – 3 years auditing experience + 3 – 5 years’ experience within the hotel industry as a Project Manager/Accountant
