Job Purpose

To provide administrative support for all teacher development activities in the organisation and to assist the Project Managers in rolling out the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting MST- Teacher Development Unit in carrying out the administration of education programmes and Implementation & roll out of MST strategy that focuses on (a) MST Teaching (b) MST Resources
2. Assisting the Project Managers in the effective delivery of projects resources such as procuring services; 3. Being goal- and deadline-oriented and time-sensitive setting to make sure that all projects are fulfilled in an efficient manner without wasting company resources.
4. Assisting the Project Managers in collating the expenditure report per project. 5. Must understand the full-cycle components of all projects, coordinate staff schedules and allocating resources. 6. To arrange and invite customers to meetings or appointments. 7. Monitor the project’s progression and adjust logistics accordingly. 8. Report on project findings, and deliver final results to the project managers.
9. To assist in complying with statutory and policy requirements, data and documentation management.
10. Liaise with SACE and the SETA in tracking the submitted resources for accreditation and endorsement.
11. Makes follow ups on procured service/s that are required in projects and keeps a record of project expenditures and payments.
12. Liaison with head office and district officials for workshop logistics.
13. To be actively involved together with the project managers in collating the evidence based report and submitting it to MGSLG.
14. Assist in ensuring the establishment and sustenance of appropriate administrative systems, structures, mechanisms, processes and procedure to facilitate the development support and maintenance of the projects.

Minimum requirements:
? Grade 12
? An education appropriate Office Administration Diploma and/or a Logistic Project management certification.
? 3 years’ experience in Office Administration programmes/ projects
? At least 2 years’ experience in project management environment

? Intensive knowledge in MS Projects.
? Strong analytical and advanced computer skills
? Masters time management, multi-tasking and willing to work overtime and weekends.
? Good Planning skills
? Good inter-personal relations.

? Problem solving.
? Self-disciplined, work overtime and under pressure with minimal supervision.
? Project management
? Data mining, handling knowledge and assist conducting research on the latest developments related to
curriculum.
? Valid driver’s licence
