Job Summary:
Fetola are Cape town based business growth professionals specialising in enterprise and supplier development. Our purpose is to accelerate the success of hundreds of small businesses across the country. The company has a small head office in Cape Town with a national network of stakeholders. This is an exciting operations role for a capable, energetic individual to be responsible for coordinating the successful implementation of our programmes, with a focus on finance.
Located in Cape Town, you will assist with implementation; including planning, roll out & monitoring of growth support for entrepreneurs in a range of sectors nationally. The role requires an understanding of business, an interest business development, proven analytical skills, and a passion for problem solving. You should have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Experience and Training:
• University degree in Business Management, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Social Sciences or related
• Prior work experience, 1-2 years in similar field
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite
• Administrative background
• An interest in innovative solutions to social and environmental challenges (social entrepreneurship) would be advantageous but not essential.
Core Competencies:
Proven project co-ordination skills, effective written and verbal communications, and the ability to work efficiently without close supervision. Strong computer literacy skills are essential. Candidate should have a passion for, and skill in solving problems, meticulous and detail-orientated. Fast learning essential, reliability and the ability to prioritise & manage own time and work collaboratively within teams. Public presentation skills are advantageous.

Key Tasks:
• Coordinate programme implementation, (monitoring, training, mentoring etc)
• Maintain regular contact with programme participants and link this progress to the programme framework
• Work with a support team
• Provide programme related support to programme participants
• Coordinate data-gathering showing participant progress
• Conduct analysis of Key performance indicators and assist with reporting according to programme reporting frameworks
