Project Coordinator

A Healthcare Company who is passionate about providing Clinical Care to HIV positive adults, children and adolescents is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Project Coordinator, KZN.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing support and technical advice in provision of quality primary health care at public health settings in the eThekwini District

Education, Training and Experience
• Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent
• Training on NIMART
• Proof of current registration with SANC
• 3 years’ experience in the Primary Health Care environment in the public sector.
• Previous management, training and mentoring of staff and ability to handle conflict.
• Facilitation and training skills
• Postgraduate qualification in HIV Management
• 2 years’ additional experience in the Primary Health Care environment in the Public Health Sector
• 3 years’ experience in PHC Supervision
• Previous experience in National Core Standards/ Ideal Clinic Realisation and Maintenance (ICRM) project Mentorship.

Key performance areas

• Coordinate programme activities and oversee day to day programme implementation at facility level
• Participate in development of best practices and enhancement of HS (PHC) program activities.
• Assist in programme monitoring, evaluation and reporting
• Participate in program audits and other quality improvement activities.
• Provide technical support and operational solutions to supported facilities
• Facilitate site specific training on Clinical Health Assessment, Treatment and Care.
• Working and dealing with Provincial and local health authorities
• Supervise, support and mentor roving team members to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of sound labour relations
