Requirements:
- Grade 12
- B.Tech / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Project Management qualification
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Fishbone Diagram and 5 WHY
- Presentation skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan and control group activities, including necessary documentation to generate offers as well as Start-ups and modifications of the
installations
- Manage the implementation and application of the procedures and work instructions
- Apply and launch the approved programmes
- Take responsibility for the achievement of the productivity improvement plans assigned
- Determine the processes needed to manufacture the products assigned
- Co-ordinate, along the the other engineers, the machines and tools required
- Co-ordinate the manufacture of the prototypes, determine the design changes needed and present changes to customers
- Liaise with the other departments for the development and modifications of the products
- Attend production and modifications analysis meetings
- Determine manufacturing feasibility
- Initiate and manage product change and the launch of the new product
