QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering qualification
• Experience in project costing and control
• Sound knowledge of project management, project planning and scheduling
• Experience and knowledge of best practices and standards in Fabrication
• Experience and knowledge of Management systems e.g. ISO9001, OHSAS18001 and ISO14001

ABILITY AND SKILLS :
• Ability to set and drive project targets
• Ability to prioritize in a dynamic project environment
• Ability to interact with Client on technical aspects
• Proficient in MS Excel, Projects & Word
• Ability to motivate, develop and mentor employees
• Be able to cope under pressure and must be prepared to work extended hours

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Prepare Project Schedules, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project
• To contract with subcontractors and ensure performance are in line with agreements
• Ensure adherence to the Contractual Terms and Conditions
• Assure accurate financial forecast in line with Project Schedule
• Develop and monitor a detailed plan for the execution of the work
• Plan and ensure optimization of labour, resources and equipment
• Monitor overall quality of the Project
