A Project Engineer is required at a Food Manufacturing Company in Rustenburg.
The successful candidate will report to the Factory Engineering Manager and must be flexible with working hours as demanded by the projects at the time.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Engineering Technician with proven track record and at least 5-8 years’ experience in an FMCG environment and experience in project management to lead the Project Engineering capability and assume responsibility for delivery of all capital and maintenance projects, both in house and outsourced.
• BSc Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years’ experience in MEI project/construction environment
• Good understanding of PMBOK principles
• Strong computer tools skills
• Proven Project Management experience
• Strong Communication skills
• Solid understanding of financial budgeting and cost estimation
Job Specification
Experience and a proven track record in a modern FMCG environment with strong computer skills, including experience in project management systems and a solid understanding of budgeting and cost estimation, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team, as well as plan and co-ordinate activities of both in house engineering staff as well as engineering contractors will be essential. Leads the engineering contractors that are used to deliver the projects, ensuring projects are safely delivered, within time schedule and budget, and to defined engineering and productivity standards.
