Qualifications: BSc / B-Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering - Heavy Current

Salary: up to R550 K CTC plus 13th Cheque

Overview: Govern and manage specific engineering projects from start to finish .


Description:

• Develop detailed project plans aligned to overall deliverables and project life cycle
• Manage all aspects of at least one significant engineering project from start to finish when required.
• Responsible for the overall tendering process for small to medium tenders with assistance.
• Responsible for all project related governance and compliance Issues.
• Making sure that SHEQ compliance is adhered to, being responsible for Project Risks


Minimum Requirements:

• BSc / B-Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering- Heavy Current
• 3 Years+ relevant working experience within the power engineering.
• 2 Years + working experience in transmission lines construction industry (Planning, Engineering, Project Management) will advantageous
• Contracts Management experience (NEC, GCC, JBCC, FIDIC)
• Computer literate on MS Office Package (MS Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Ability to learn quickly
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Candidate or Professional Registration with ECSA and SACPCMP advantageous
• Good people and communication skills and an ability to interact with internal and external parties
• Strong planning, organising and administration skills
• Business travel required
