Job Title: Project Engineer

Our client currently has a permanent vacancy for the position of Project Engineer based at Durban, reporting to the Project Engineer Manager.

Responsibilities
• Control projects (Development or Transfer) with project management tools and manage project team members.
• Ensure Quality standards are adhered to during Development phase.
• Controlling of Project expenses against approved CAPEX
• Training and education of project staff.
• Coordination of project cost planning.
• Implementation of Project Management System.
• Ensure correct data in the MRP – System, BOM’s / EDM / GTA / SAP
• Ensure Product and Process designs are within the company Design standards and are compatible with Production Processes

Qualification & Experience
• Appropriate post graduate degree – National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min 5 years Project Management Experience in OEM Projects
• Experience in Engineering, design and process validation
• Understand and have exposure to OEM specifications and interpretation.
