A Water Utilities Company is looking for Project Engineers (Civil and Mechanical) based in Free State (Bothavile).

Minimum requirements: • B Engineering/BSc or BTech Civil or Mechanical • 3 years’ experience in bulk water projects
• A valid driver’s licence • Computer literacy • Strong organising, administrative and planning skills • Good presentation and report-writing skills • Proven project management skills • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Major responsibilities: • Provide the required engineering input to enable the Manager to integrate the requirements of various functions in the tender documents • Manage the execution of the contractual engineering deliverables in accordance with the defined scope of services and contract specifications • Evaluate the performance of the engineering contracts and recommend corrective action • Ensure the integrated engineering, environmental and contractual solutions within the project objectives • Identify engineering risks and recommend implementation of appropriate mitigating measures • Evaluate project plans and designs • Monitor progress on contract payments • Ensure quality control, keeping to the time and cost sales and liaising effectively with stakeholders.
