Project Industrial Engineer – Centurion
Salary: R40K P/Month

Description: Implementation / Management of Projects and Cross Silo if required – Continuous Improvement Practices (CIP), new implementation and strategic initiatives according to the set standards of the Companies Project Management.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate
• BTech / BEng Degree in Industrial Engineering ONLY
• Advanced: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• MS Project, Visio, AutoCad.
• 2 Years project management and Industrial engineering experience within a logistics environment.
• Project management skills: group facilitation, advanced communication, planning & control (with work breakdown structure, estimates, scheduling, risk management & cost).
• Knowledge of H & S best practices.
• Knowledge of budget management – including opex, capex & forecasting, and procurement experience.
• Ability to facilitate an AQP (planning) workshop with executives.
• Ability to work extended hours.
• Own vehicle & valid license.
• Working knowledge of supplier relationship management, verification of solution design, sound knowledge of Automotive & Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and strong operations experience.
• Experience in Prince 2 or PMP.

Duties:
• Participate in and/or Facilitate AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) workshops and deliverables.
• Project Management:
? Work breakdown structure;
? Project charter;
? Scope document;
? Project schedule;
? Resource Planning;
? Risk Management;
? Procurement and Costing;
? Project close-out report;
? Group facilitation and communication;
? Monitors and controls progress against deliverables with all stakeholders;
• Weekly project report on PPO (Project Portfolio Office).
• Implementation of project, handover to operations and stabilization phase.
• Facilitate tender process and tender adjudication.
• Development and updating of layouts using Autocad.
