Project Manager (Civils)

A Construction firm is seeking to employ a Project Manager to be permanently based in Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidate should be able to plan and supervise construction projects including co-ordination of a team of professionals of different disciplines.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must have a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or Project Management
Must be registered with SACPCMP as a Professional
Must have a minimum of 10- 15 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager in Road works, Earthworks or Concrete works industries
Must have experience in managing budgets for large construction projects.
Must have experience in managing a team of employees and multiple projects
Must be able to read blueprints and structural drawings and plan sets
Must understand construction procedures, material and project management and risk management policies and procedures.
Must be familiar with quality and health and safety standards.
Must be in possession of a driver licence
