Project Manager/Consultant – Supply chain
Sandton, Johannesburg
R600 000 – R750 000 per annum

Requirements:

4 – 6 years of experience in implementing supply chain planning software or consulting using supply chain software.
Typical software products include CAST, Optimiza, i2 Strategist, Just Enough, Llamasoft, JDA, Netstock, or similar.
Appropriate degree such as B.Sc Industrial Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
Relevant Post graduate qualification (E.g. Engineering Honors, Masters or MBA) would be beneficial but not mandatory

Duties:

The Senior Consultant works on consulting projects using Company’s suite of supply chain software to :
- Implement inventory management and demand planning software for clients
- Perform supply chain network modelling projects for clients
The senior consultant is experienced in working with supply chain planning software, and is able to competently design effective supply chain software planning solutions.
The senior consultant can competently perform project work when required, but more important is the ability to lead project teams in doing the work.
The senior consultant is required to lead more than one project at the same time, and is responsible for ensuring the successful outcome of the project(s) through the work done by the project teams.
The senior consultant is a domain expert in supply chain planning software, and a key function is knowledge sharing through the training, coaching and mentoring of junior team members.
Strong technical capability is required, as well as good people skills.
The Senior Consultant owns the relationship with the client, both internal and external, and part of the role is to identify and open up new opportunities with clients.
