Our client, in the mining industry, is looking for a Project Manager with underground mining and GCC experience to handle the mega projects in the Kriel area. This is a 36 month contract.

Requirements:

• B Eng (Relevant) ( Essential minimum and/or )
• Management Development Programme ( Essential/Minimum )
• Bachelor of Science: Engineering ( Essential/Minimum )
• Master of Business Administration ( Recommended/Desirable )
• Gov Cert of Competence: Engineering ( Recommended/Desirable )
• Certificate Project Management ( Recommended/Desirable )
• Must have underground experience and GCC
• Must have 10 years’ experience in Project Management methodologies, PMBOK, project evaluation and improvement, exposure to projects in heavy industry, project management principles and practices for the planning, design and implementation of project outcomes
• Proven experience on large/mega project implementation 

KPAs:

• To direct and manage project delivery for the duration of mega project execution phase
• To develop project plans and estimate resources needed to achieve project goals
• To develop and implement a detailed schedule for projects
• To mitigate and manage risks that can impact on projects
