Job Description:
A well known Telecommunications company is looking for a Implementation Project Manger, the primary responsibility for the Implementation PM is to supervise and control of the project – including planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation in that the project is delivered on time, within budget and adhering to all quality, construction, health and safety specifications

Operational

Work with different departments and staff of all skill levels.
Ensuring that all relevant official business and departmental information is cascaded to the relevant implementation teams.
Ensure that all projects allocated are completed within the project timeframes and budget.
Ensure the daily effective management, organizing and coordination of the multiple performance activities required by implementation internal and external teams.
Ensure the smooth running of entry, access, spurs, routes and FTTB project rollouts.
Ensure that the project / department milestones / goals are achieved monthly and are within approved budgets.
Ensure that the workflow / work orders are at optimal and manageable levels.
Ensure adequate planning of resources (i.e. people, tools, material, and machinery) are available and managed both efficiently and effectively.
Ensure that the project acceptance procedures are adhered to on all completed projects.
Ensure the effective and efficient follow up on any/all quality assurance deviations within the agreed internal SLA’s.
Compile and submit accurate and timeous KPI reports monthly.
Ensure that staff maintain and adhere to industry specifications and standards (i.e. Company internal quality operating procedures, Company technical specifications and standards, etc.).
Ensure that OHS standards are maintained and adhered to at all time.
Travel to regions and sites as required.
Extended work hours may be required from time to time.

Educations and Experience

Matric
Qualification in Civil Engineering, ITC and/or Telecommunications
Project Management qualification
3-5 years’ experience as a Civil Construction Site Manager or Installation Liaison Officer
3-5 years’ experience managing vendor’s/service provider’s teams in a civil construction environment
Administrative experience in building and auditing Health and Safety
Report writing
Experience of implementing or managing OHSAct and Construction Regulations
Relevant experience in monitoring and auditing of subcontractor safety performances
