To coordinate and implement quality improvement measures, within the various regions adolescent programme and to conduct baseline assessments of all supported clinics and develop a quality improvement plan. Provide technical support and training in youth friendly services, sexual reproductive and mental health and develop and effectively manage relationships with district/sub-district stakeholders.

Education, Training and Experience
• Degree in Health Science / Public Health
• Diploma HIV Management
• 3 years management experience within a donor funded public health programme including management of complex stakeholder relationships
• 1-2 years’ experience in at least one of the following fields: Adolescent Health, HIV, Sexual and Reproductive Health /or mental health
• Prior experience working in a Quality Improvement role.
• Own transport and being able to travel intensively in and around the Gauteng and Matlosana Sub-district in North West province.

Key performance areas

• Stakeholder Management
• Working with the district management teams, develop relationships at a district level with external and internal stakeholders including DoH, DBE,DSD, donors, partners and relevant structures
• Project development and implementation
• Implement appropriate project management processes to ensure delivery of adolescent programme components according to timelines and budgets with a specific focus on aspects of sustainability such as the phasing out of certain roles as the program matures
• Staff management
• Attend to all staffing requirements and administration
• Supervise and manage the duties of subordinates to ensure optimal staff utilisation and maintenance of sound labour relations
• Reporting and Administration
• Track and monitor district and facility level project components, including operational research projects, budgets and expenditure using agreed project indicators
• Report monthly on key achievements; key challenges; and any anecdotal success stories
