Project Manager - Sandton

Our client is looking for a certified Project Manager with 4 to 5 years experience in Infrastructure & Systems Development environment.


Lead, organize, plan and control multiple technical IT projects
Lead and manage the project resources
Manage and participate in scoping and planning workshops
Maintain Scope of Work, plans
Management of project risks
Scope change control
Project goals and objectives achieved within the overall scope, overall delivery takes place
Ability to manage complex technical projects
Ensure delivery of project deliverables within the agreed time, cost and quality
Ensure that project milestones are met
Issue resolution and management
Manage meetings and minutes according to the agreed schedule and format
Compile status reports within area of responsibility
Manage the quality of the project output
Mentor and guide the project team where required
Project Management standards, templates and code of conduct

Qualifications and experience
Tertiary qualifications
Project Management Diploma or Certificate
PM Accreditation
4 - 5 years experience in Project Management environment.
3 - 4 years experience in running projects in an IT environment preferably in Infrastructure & Systems Development environment.
3 – 5 years Systems Development experience
Agile systems methods (advantageous)
Computer literate (MS Office, MS Project. Project Web Access (EPM)
ITIL training and\or experience
Ability to see the big picture and work accurately with the detail
Ability to meet specific project goals and objectives
Ability to lead and manage virtual teams of internal or external resources
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good facilitation and presentation skills
