Description
JOB PURPOSE
To manage and control the Application Development for Planning, Design, Implementation, Maintenance and Support processes to deliver the services contractually provided to our Client, by following prescribed methodology for Project delivery as agreed to by the Client.
JOB OBJECTIVES
Know and ensure ITIL Compliance
Conduct service monitoring – customer and business-focused
Intimately understand the Service Offering, Service Catalogue and Client Agreements
Know the company way of work and how it applies to the Client
Be aware of changes in the service model and know when to apply them to the Incident area
Understand and comply with Client and company governance and standards
Be aware of new developments in information technology and apply then to the Incident area
Understand reporting complexities in order to compile analysis and reports on performance/non performance
The increased need to be client focused, i.e. understanding the client’s needs, in order to ensure that the company is viewed as a strategic business partner
The need to be aware of the impact of change management
The need to be aware of the company best practice
The need to deliver goods and services timeously
The need to be familiar with and comply to corporate regulations
The need to follow BSIM guidelines for continual business improvement
The need to be aware of new developments in respect of information technology e.g. Prince II
The increasing need to be aware of the unique culture of each organisation where projects are being carried out

Requirements
EDUCATION

Grade 12, NQF Level, plus relevant university diploma/degree (NQF Level 5/6)
Certification in ITIL Service Management and Service Delivery modules
EXPERIENCE
5-10 years ICT experience
5-8 years’ experience at management level (including Project Management)
Recognised project management course as per training module (e.g. MS Project training)
Expert knowledge of financial practises
