A Home Loans division at a Leading Banking Sector seeks a Project Manager that will be responsible for successfully planning, directing and coordinating the activities of a project.

Responsibilities include:
·         agreeing project objectives
·         representing the client's or organisation's interests
·         providing advice on the management of projects
·         organising the various professional people working on a project
·         carrying out risk assessment
·         making sure that all the aims of the project are met
·         making sure the quality standards are met
·         ensure the project is completed on time and within budget
·         using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
·         cover all aspects of a project from the beginning stages through to completion
·         overseeing the accounting, costing and billing

Qualification:
•                    BSc Comp Sci, BEng or BCom Degree
•                    Relevant Project Management Qualification (PMP or Prince 2) or Business degree with PM Topic
 
Requirements, Experience & Technical Skills:
·         At least 5 years Project management experience
·         Exposure in banking and strong technology projects experience preferred
·         Agile & ITIL (Bonus)
·         Knowledge and awareness of  IT Finance project management exposure preferred
·         Proven track record of delivering strategic and multi-functional projects in a complex environment.
  • Significant experience of leading complex business transformational projects, taking responsibility for full execution from facilitating initiation through to implementation within the overall programme of work.
  • Knowledge of structured lending, collateral management and banking channels.
  • Formal methodology (e.g. PMBOK, PRINCE 2)
  • Practical experience of using project software and other desktop productivity tools (Office Professional, Project, and Visio)
  • Significant practical experience of direct involvement in project managing large process re-engineering, systems, and business change implementation in a banking environment.
