Project Manager Westville, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal R 35 000 to R 50 000 per month Permanent Closing date: 15th July 2016

JOB SUMMARY:

Creates and executes programme work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  1. 1.      Project
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a programme and scope
  • Minimizes exposure to risk
  • Ensures programme aspects are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Identifies business development and opportunities as they relate to a specific project
  • Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping.
  • Effectively conveys message in both written and verbal business development discussions
  • Defines and implements systems and controls to manage robust project delivery, including ensuring outputs are to standard, timelines are adhered to, and stakeholders are appropriately aligned
  1. 2.      Human Resources
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Mentors and develops team in a constructive manner

 

  1. 3.      Financial:
  • Compiles company’s programme budget
  • Manages project/programme budget
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization
  • Analyses project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates and utilization of resources
  • Effective Debtor Management
  • Leads monthly programme team meetings
  • Compiles monthly reports
  • Manages internal cluster budget & reporting
  • Assures project legal documents are completed and signed
  • Track and report team activity and related revenue generated

  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Assume leading role in cluster activities
  • Keep informed of industry developments
  • Maintains relationships with cluster members and other stakeholders

  • Compiles new cluster business plans and related budgets
  • Identifies new opportunities for cluster
  • Manages stakeholder funding interface and funding outlook
  • Conducts, writes and presents benchmarks
