JOB TITLE Project Manager

SALARY R30 000.00 Total Cost To company dependent on current package
Working Hours Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00

OVERALL PURPOSE An International Multi-Disciplinary Primary Healthcare Service provider who brings Care to the Community is expanding its services into the Mafikeng Area. The Company brings Primary Healthcare to patient’s doorsteps in a mobile clinic setting, providing clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic services.

PROJECT OVERVIEW The mobile medical unit provides essential primary health care services. The health team will support communities providing access to quality mobile emergency primary healthcare services.

FUNCTIONAL LINKS
Internal: Health Advisor, Health officers, other clinic staff, Drivers and project Manager
External: Community leaders, Directorate of health, local health providers

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE: ESSENTIAL
Vocational qualification Project Management Degree or Diploma
PR Degree of Diploma

Work experience At least three(3) years project management experience in dealing with rural communities

Languages Strong working knowledge of Setswana (spoken and written)

IT & Communications Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Driver’s License and Own Car Not Negotiable

Brief Outline of Basic Scope of Work

? Project Manager will be responsible for the direct and daily management, improvements and maintenance of the project activities; ensuring
that the quality, goals and standards of work is according to the strategic objectives and contractual obligations of the company.
? He/ She will administer and manage the project by leading a team of key staff that will ensure recurring tasks, as well as innovative methods
are fulfilled and implemented that will develop community capacity for high level participation and involvement in implementation of above
mentioned components.
? Project Manager is expected to be able to work independently, establish strong local support, networks, and to invent and improve local
solutions for the problems if and when necessary. Good co-operation and capacity development at provincial and district levels will be of
importance with focus on gender and local community participation.
? Project Manager has to prepare and compile plans, budgets, and reports at regular intervals and to have frequent field trips.
? The successful implementation of the project to be measured on performance based criteria.
? To have a sound knowledge of administration, planning, budgeting and report writing
? To have enough skills of conflict resolution, at office as well as at community level.
? To have a good supervisory, monitoring, leadership, analytical and troubleshooting skills
? Good computer skills in Ms. Word and Ms. Excel
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills and capacity to deal with different rural communities with varied
? Political/socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
? Sound communication skills, to be honest, well mannered
? To be familiar with the Mafikeng Region
