Minimum requirements and qualifications

? ND Mech. Engineering (minimum) or BSc (Eng) Degree
? Formal Project Management qualification will be an advantage
? Knowledge of the Sugar Industry and the Mining, Paper, Utility & Petrochemical Industries
? Strong commercial background. FIDIC knowledge would be an advantage
? Sound Technical/Engineering background and drawing interpretation

Key responsibilities and Tasks

? Manage Project process, planning, procurement, implementation and review
? Preparation of tenders from inception phase of project
? Prepares and manages Project financial budgets
? Contract preparation, selection and management of third party suppliers
? Share best practice and contribute to setting new standards / procedures
? Motivates, develops and coaches junior project staff
? Stakeholder management including claims and negotiation
? Ensure adherence to company and customer policies and procedures

Experience

? 5 years multi-million rand turnkey Project Management
? Computer literacy : MS projects, MS office
? Good administrative and communication skills
? Negotiation skills
