Project Manager position available (Automotive manufacturing environment) Port Elizabeth
Our client within the automotive manufacturing environment is currently searching for a qualified and experience Project Manager for Port Elizabeth
Requirements:
• 10 years technical experience in automotive /manufacturing industry
• Business management or technical equivalent tertiary qualification
• 5 years of experience in theoretical and practical Project Management
• Must have knowledge of strategy, problem solving, management techniques and tools
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager, ERP or IT Projects implementation /involvement advantageous
Performance areas:
• This is a newly created position for a qualified Project Manager that can handle all projects that need attention. The role will be within the Engineering Department; therefore these projects could range from: Upgrading their ERP System, to any projects that need support
• The role would require you to plan, monitor the budget and report on business strategic projects using specific project management tools
• Liaise between the executive team and the operational teams tasked with the actual execution of the project
• Be responsible for turning the strategic vision in to reality through executing a sound, actionable plan. This involves ensuring that the scope of the project is sound, reporting regularly on the progress of the project and that it is staying within the approved schedule
• Our client specializes in the design, manufacture and sale of a certain items – 100% for export purposes (international clients in various industries)
Market related Salary on offer dependent on experience and qualifications. Company benefits (medical aid (50%), Pension fund, 13th cheque) will be included in the TCTC which will be disclosed to the shortlisted candidates
