The Project Office Administrator internship will be focused on developing a suitable candidate to support the project management office (PMO).

Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Assist with the routing of project management documentation to ensure required approvals are obtained.
• Assist with the preparation of the project and contract registration forms and project schedules.
• Monitoring of expenses against approved budgets and escalate deviations.
• Update project information in the required format and in the appropriate system.
• Prepare monthly reports as required.
• Deal with project queries and route appropriately.
• Assist with the management of the internal process of contractual agreements.
• Assist with the calculation of income to be declared, and running costs against timesheet bookings.
• Provide inputs requested and prepare documentation required by management (Status of invoices, Project dashboard, etc.)
• Assist the Project Manager with administrative tasks.

Experience
As this role will be an internship, any of the following experience will be advantageous:
• Project management/administration
• Good understanding of financial principles

Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel is a requirement

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning, administrative and organisational skills.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
• A suitable tertiary qualification, such as CAPM (MPI), PMP, Prince 2 certifications, Project Management diploma/degree.
