Project Officer - Career Education (fixed-term)
Job Purpose
Deliver a holistic career education programme of the Career Centre with various projects to targeted clients in order to help achieve the objectives of the Career Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and source career education material and content e.g. job profiles, life skills learning material, etc
2. Research, develop, plan, coordinate, monitor and supervise implementation of the career education projects at various sites and schools and report on delivery to Career Centre Management.
3. In consultation with Senior Programme Officer liaise with stakeholders, especially GDE for all school based activity. Participate; engage and deliver with GDE officials and facilitators on training implementation. Engage and collaborate with community based structures.
4. Ensure monitoring and evaluation of quality standards in service delivery and facilitate review of programme along with Senior Project Officer.
5. Implement project budget in line with performance indicators to ensure cost effectiveness.
6. Assume overall responsibility for project materials and resources utilised by the team.
7. Supervise and monitor the performance of the career education project team, submitting qualitative and quantitative data and information.
8. Build collegiality and develop a team of career facilitators and ensure delivery of quality client service.
9. Assume staff supervisory responsibility for projects and programmes in Career Education.
10. Deliver on tasks delegated by the Career Centre Manager.

Key Requirements:
• Graduate in Education
• 5 years experience in education
• 2 years experience in educational project management in schools and communities
