Project Manager | Financial Sector | Contract

Our client a team of highly skilled finance professionals based in London, Manchester and Cape Town , blazing a trail in the Accounts Receivable and Asset Based Lending sectors by offering their clients working capital solutions from the top financial institutions in the world need to build up their operations in Cape Town to service these mandates to a high quality.

Role:
Streamline the current processes for efficiency
Analyse debtors aging and other key financial metrics as due diligence for potential new customers
Complete the legal documentation with the customer and our funding partners based on the signed heads of terms as received from the deals team
Collate KYC documents for new customers
On board the new customers onto their software, giving them training and assisting with any questions.
Communicate with insurers regarding credit limits. Assess the best insurance cover for the receivables amongst the choice of insurers. Resolve any missing information to maximise these limits
Process weekly funding of receivables using our software
Update Debtors payments in the receivables software daily
Complete monthly reconciliation of cashflows
Provide weekly progress feedback to our funders in the UK and Europe via email and phone
Provide weekly and monthly reporting (excel and word) to both customers and funders
Document and communicate processes as the division grows
Hiring junior staff should the role require
The role may become permanent as we build the team required to grow this division

They looking for someone with:
Operations manager experience in the finance sector
Strong project management and administrative skills
Experience in the one or all of the following areas is advantageous: working capital finance, accounts
University degree or diploma in a relevant field (accounting, finance, project management)
+3 years plus work experience minimum
Good communication skills to lead their customers through the onboarding process
Entrepreneurial in their ability to take ownership in the growth of the division
A problem solver, someone who identifies a problem before anyone else with the ability to offer a solution

While this is a contract role, there is a very strong possibility of making the role permanent based on the success of this division.
