a Manufacturing Company in Midrand is looking for a Project Specialist: Warehouse

The purpose of the role is to support the Regions with the implementation of the Logistics Warehouse strategy through project related initiatives that will ensure operational requirements are met.

The suitable person will have a B Comm or B Degree (Business Management, Logistics OR Industrial Engineering)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Project Management experience

Knowledge of Warehouse Management, Distribution Management, Fleet Management.

Key Outputs:

Design optimal warehouse layouts
Simulate warehouse activities to determine optimal resource utilisation
Executes the implementation of key strategic projects in the warehouse
Track and monitor performance and productivity measures, identify gaps and develop solutions to address the gaps
Identify and exercise operational efficiency improvement opportunities
Support the implementation and improvement of various systems, processes, resourcing and capability
Share operational best practices across the supply chain
Manages collaboration across the value chain
Ensure benefits are derived for projects and value capture initiatives
