Project Support Administrator (PSA) Role Profile

Minimum Qualifications
• 2-3 yrs. exp. in PMO and project management practices advantageous.
• Tertiary qualification and/or accredited Project Management qualification advantageous.
• Experience in utilising project management tools and experience on IT and Business projects.
• Financial Systems knowledge.
• Strong process discipline, work in a pressurised environment, work with different levels of staff capability
• MUST HAVE AGILE EXPERIENCE OR CERTIFICATION
• Critical for successful candidate to get on well with people and work well within a team environment.
• Prepared to share knowledge, innovative ideas, be able to think out of the box.

Responsibility Areas (KRA’s) to be included
This role assists various project/project teams with the administrative load of project/projects and is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts

Key responsibilities include:
• Personal effectiveness:
- Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.

• Project administration:
- Assists various project/project teams with the administrative load of projects (defined by project methodology requirements).
- Assists in arranging workshops and captures workshop information into the appropriate templates.
- Attends project/project meetings in order to take minutes.
- Assists in the updating of project/project plans.
- Adhering to the corporate project office governances (including project management and service delivery processes/lifecycles, etc.).
- Providing administrative and logistic support to the Project Manager.
- Organising and maintaining standard documentation; project/project configuration management.
- Collating reports for the relevant forums, meetings, presentations, etc.
- Assisting with the managing and reconciling of all expenses and invoices.
- Managing the project budgets (Actual spends and forecasting) & month end reports
- Updating project/project plans, tactical and trial plans and updating/maintaining thereof on a daily basis, as well as RIDA (risks/issues/decisions/actions) log(s).
- Drive and assist with signoff of project/project documents with all relevant stakeholders.
- Co-ordination of status monthly reports.
- Travel arrangements (national and international) & any required events/functions.
