Requirements:

National Diploma, BTech or Degree Electrical Engineering (Light Current) / electronic or Mechatronics
3 – 10 years system integration and PLC and SCADA programming experience
The role would require time spent at client’s sites and operations, emphasise the requirement for travel and time spent away from home

Responsibilities:
Control, system engineering functions
PLC programming / SCADA programming and development
Factory acceptance testing
Report writing
Control System design and delivery, preferably in a diverse set of roles (e.g. engineer, designer, software programmer, commissioning engineer)
Modern industrial control and protection systems (PLC/DCS/SCADA), and Data Historians
Modern industrial communications networks and technologies, including wireless networking
Cyber security, and secure networks
Plant and facility commissioning
Familiar with Electrical engineering and designs
Familiar with medium voltage low voltage switchgear
Familiar with bus protection and protection systems for plants
Commissioning and supervision plants
Familiar with formal software engineering standards and approaches
Familiar with safety critical design processes and designs.
