PROJECTS CONTROL MANAGER – NORTHERN CAPE (Preferably EE)

Our International Client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry based in Cape Town. They have an opportunity for a PROJECTS CONTROL MANAGER to join their EPC Team in the Northern Cape on a Fix Term Contract of minimum 12 months.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a technical degree or similar qualification, ideally Electrical Engineering
• Project Management certificate is advantageous
• 3+ years' experience in a Technical Manager role for the solar PV industry, ideally in the supply and distribution area
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritising of workload with attention to detail;
• Computer literacy with good numeracy skill;
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning;
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Must have proven experience managing technical teams
• Hands on experience managing operating procedures, Solar System designs, advising on applicable parts and understanding and troubleshooting compatibility issues
• Experience developing technical product strategies and training teams on technical best practices
• Expertise in matters regarding research development and identifying leading products
• Must be IT savvy, you will be working on multiple software systems and making improvements to the processes the systems use
