An exciting and challenging opportunity exists with a leading property management company for a Property Administrator to join their Sectional Title Division. The successful incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing support services for the property management team. The Property Administrator will be responsible for managing all contracts, liaison between building and tenant.
Skills required:

• Minimum Grade 12 with a minimum of 2 years experience within property administration role within sectional title environment.
• Strong numeracy ability.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team as well as function effectively independently.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Systematic and organised.

Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative / secretarial support to Portfolio Manager and portfolio team members.
• Update and collate all property reports as required by landlord / Senior Portfolio Manager as and when required on an on-going basis.
• Upload new and renewal lease agreements onto Internal Management System.
• Liaison with relevant internal staff regarding tenant queries.
• Dealing with tenant complaints / queries regarding new leases and renewals and other issues.
• Liaise with utility companies regarding vacated premises and new tenants taking occupation.
• Lease administration which includes the drafting of lease agreement according to landlord requirements, lease renewals, commission calculations, tenant database, recordkeeping.
• Follow up on all outstanding documents and securities with regards to the leases.
• Assist with Telephonic Collections on outstanding debtors payments.
• Conduct reconciliations where disputes exist.
• Take on related duties as required or assigned.
• Also ensures high standard of performance.
